Dit is een concert dat realtime plaats vindt en dus niet vooraf opgenomen is. Je komt dichter bij de musicus dan ooit! Terwijl je thuis zit, loop je binnen in de studio van topgitarist Izhar Elias, met al zijn historische gitaren om zich heen. Tijdens dit concert bespeelt Izhar drie verschillende gitaren.

Maak kennis met enkele bijzondere pareltjes uit de barok, gespeeld op een barokgitaar, Capricci van Luigi Legnani op een originele romantische gitaar en een meesterlijk nieuw werk van Florian Magnus Maier in een toegankelijke virtuoze stijl. Het concert wordt afgesloten met de all time classic Capricho Árabe van Francisco Tárrega.

Izhar Elias is een veelzijdig gitarist die bekend staat om zijn grensverleggende programma's. Hij gaf concerten in Europa, Rusland, Zuid-Oost Azië, Australië en de VS, maar niet eerder live online.

Bij ieder online gitaarconcert krijgt een conservatoriumstudent de gelegenheid zijn of haar visitekaartje af te geven. Dit keer is dat de Franse gitariste Roxane Radoux. Roxane begon op 6-jarige leeftijd met gitaarspelen. Ze won eerste prijzen bij Tagashi Iwagami competition (2012) en Villa-Lobos competition (2015). In 2020 behaalde ze haar bachelor. Momenteel studeert Roxane bij Carlo Marchione in Maastricht.

Tijdens het concert kun je via de chat functie van Zoom vragen stellen. Na afloop beantwoorden beide gitaristen zoveel mogelijk vragen.

Interactive guitar concert

This is not just a streamed concert, but a realtime concert in which you can come closer to the musician. While sitting at home, you enter the studio of Dutch master guitarist Izhar Elias, surrounded by his many historical guitars. During this concert Izhar will play three different guitars.

Listen to beautiful baroque pieces played on a baroque guitar, Capricci by Luigi Legnani played on an original romantic guitar and a new masterpiece by Florian Magnus Maier, written in a very beautiful and virtuosic style. The final piece of the concert will be the all time classic Capricho Árabe by Francisco Tarrega.

Izhar Elias won the prestigious Dutch Music Prize, the highest musical award given by the Dutch government. His poetic style in combination with profound research makes Izhar one of the most sought-after specialists in early music, chamber music and new music for guitar. He has given concerts, lectures and masterclasses, and been the soloist in concertos with renowned orchestras, in Europe, Russia, south-east Asia, Australia and the US.

The French guitarist Roxane Radoux will open the concert. She started playing the guitar at 6. She then went to Paris and Strasbourg to continue her studies. In 2012 she won the 1st prize in the Tagashi Iwagami competition and in 2015 the 1st prize in the Villa-Lobos competition. She passed her bachelor's degree in 2020 and decided to study with Carlo Marchione at Conservatorium Maastricht.
