Maayke Schuitema is known for her large linocut prints of female nudes. Parallel to her nudes, that represent the aspect of her involvement in the women's movement, she has had a great love for portrait art all her life. She collects, makes and reads them. For Maayke the ideal way to react directly to major events in the world. She has made more than 250 of them and is showing an overview of new and previous works for the first time in Project 2.0 / Gallery.
