Thank you for your intention to register to the 2nd Shark and Ray Active Recovery Workshop!WWF-Netherlands and ARK Nature lead a project on nature recovery in the marine ecosystem: &quot;Living North Sea&quot;.Recovery of formerly abundant shark and ray populations is an important pillar of this project.You are kindly invited to join us in a 2-day workshop in March, with an option for a site visit on the 3rd day. In the workshop we’ll discuss the possibilities and impossibilities of active recovery ambitions at sea, with a focus on sharks and rays.We would like to share thoughts about the (im)possibilities of reintroduction, translocation and the protection of small remaining populations.Last year’s workshop brought a multitude of ideas, new insights and interactions, and we hope to welcome you this year, to continue our discussions, build new partnerships and share knowledge again.A detailed workshop program will be published two weeks before the workshop.We are happy to assist in making hotel arrangements for you. You can apply for a room during the registration process. Please note we have 35 rooms in option. Quick registration is required if you want to take advantage of this offer. PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKSHOP INCLUDING MEALS IS FREE. TRAVEL AND HOTEL COSTS ARE AT YOUR OWN ACCOUNT.We are happy to assist in making hotel arrangements for you.
