Who is Aeham Ahmad? Aeham grew up in the Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk in Damascus. Amidst the war, he became globally known as “the pianist of Syria” by rolling his piano through destroyed neighborhoods to bring hope through music. After fleeing to Europe, he has become a highly sought-after musician and speaker. His powerful performances and message of peace, humanity, and connection have touched audiences across Europe and beyond. He is a recipient of the International Beethoven Prize for Human Rights.
What to expect? At the Museum of Humanity, Aeham will perform original compositions, classical pieces, and traditional songs. About Museum of Humanity
Museum of Humanity was born from a dream — a vision of a space filled with powerful portraits that reveal human dignity in all its forms. That dream became reality when photographer Ruben Timman quietly began hanging portraits in an abandoned factory near Amsterdam, sparking stories, encounters, and eventually a museum. Today, we bring that spirit to communities around the world through exhibitions, campaigns, workshops, and training. By combining striking portraits, personal stories, and meaningful encounters, we invite people to move from ‘I’ to ‘we’ — to truly see one another across backgrounds, beliefs, and borders.
