African Nights
A night of roots, rhythm, and connection
This Saturday, we gather again. To celebrate our roots, our rhythm, our stories — and the beautiful connections that bring us all together. The laughter, the food, the music, the colors — it’s the energy that unites us, wherever we come from.
We call it African Nights, a night where the festival spirit comes home. Where everyone is welcome at the table to eat, dance, and share in the joy that keeps our family growing.
The doors of Café Dox (Luxor Theater Rotterdam) open at 17:00. Come early, find your people, taste something that reminds you of home — or discover a new one.
From Senegal to Nigeria, Kenya to Somalia, Angola to Zimbabwe, Ethiopia to Jamaica, and right here in the Netherlands, we come together as one.
Line-up
Omar Ka (Senegal) the voice that carries the desert’s spirit and the city’s rhythm, returning with his band for an unforgettable night.
L.D.C (Angola) blending Afro-House, Rap, and rhythm into pure movement. His beats bring the unmistakable energy of Angola to the floor.
Takunda Chikalombe (Zimbabwe) acrobat, dancer, lightbender and storyteller in motion.
