Dance is a central element in many African and diaspora cultures. Passed down through generations, dances across the continent are used to perform rituals, celebrations and as moment of communion. About Foundation
Co-founded by John Agesilas and niched in the center of the Bijlmer area in Amsterdam, Foundation wants to become Europe's most interactive, most inspiring Hip Hop school. We want to create a culture based on passion, where our students are as wise, wealthy, diverse and evolving as the world today.
Foundation’s full curriculum includes Hip Hop, House, Popping, Dancehall, traditional African dance, UK Jazz Fusion, Breaking and Locking – as well as theatre, entrepreneurship, art and media.
