About this event

Good to know:

- We always work on the same exercices & routines 2 weeks in a row so that you have time to feel more comfortable and own the different exercices :)

We’ll go deeper into understanding the grooves and foundational steps and techniques of many street Afro Dance styles (Azonto, Naija Pop, Coupé Décalé, Afrohouse… you name it!).

The goal for you is to:

〰️ Understand and appreciate the culture of the dance and the music

〰️ Increase the self-awareness around your body

〰️ Let go of all fear of judgment or inner critic

〰️ Find out how unique you are, how no one’s ever going to be like you, and use it to express your own stories

〰️ Have fun and enjoy yourself!

It’s more than dancing; it’s a journey towards self-discovery by getting out of your head and into your body again!

— WHY —

To challenge you to go into your body (again), do something for the first time again, get the kid out of you to be playful, explore and have fun, to meet new like-minded people, socialise and have fun!

Remember we always lead with our ##feelingsfirst !

All my beginners who enjoy the music and respect the culture, and who want to know more about themselves, connect with the dance, and meet new people!

Get ready to sweat, but most of all, HAVE FUN — because it’s the best and only way to learn and improve!!! And remember, if you know how to walk, you know how to dance.

See you on the dance floor! 💃🏻

Much love xx
