Navigating Self + Body on the Internet Behind the screens artist talk by <a href="https://mayaontheinter.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Maya Man</a>, August 17th at 18:00 CEST, onlineAbout the eventIn this talk, Maya Man will share her work examining how we translate ourselves &amp; bodies for the internet. In this session, Maya will share with us projects she’s been working on, highlighting the ways she thinks about how we represent ourselves on screen 🤳🏾The talk is open to curious individuals from all fields and disciplines 🪩The talk will take around 60 minutes including the Q&amp;A and discussions, and will happen on Gathertown. Her work considers the computer screen a space for intimacy and performance, focusing on the phenomenon of translating our offline selves into on-screen content. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Computer Science and Media Studies from Pomona College.
