AI Workflow Builder Workshop

In one day, you'll design and build a real AI workflow around your own work, no coding required, and leave with a working automation and a playbook to match.

You know how to prompt. Now it's time to build.

This full-day hands-on workshop is for intermediate AI users ready to move from experimenting with prompts to building real AI workflows. Taking place during World AI Week Amsterdam, it's the ideal skills-first warm-up before World Summit AI.

You'll build using Make.com, with Claude as your AI build partner and a free, open-source AI model powering the automation itself. No coding, and no real company data needed.

Every technique is taught two ways: have Claude build directly for you, or have Claude coach you through it step by step. Either way works, even on a locked-down work laptop.

Along the way: the patterns that trip up most first-time builders, workflows vs. agents, and where to go once your build outgrows a spreadsheet.

Come with a problem in mind, or let the morning session help you find one. Either way, you'll leave with something real.

There's a prize for the best workflow built on the day.

11:00–11:15 · Welcome & Context Setting Why AI workflows matter, what we're building today, and how the day runs

11:15–12:15 · AI Basics & Tool Orientation Core AI concepts for intermediate users, including workflows vs. agents. Two ways to build with Claude, so nobody's blocked by their laptop. A live worked build, plus a look at the wider tool landscape

12:15–13:00 · Use Case Clinic Participants share their problem or use case. Group discussion to pressure-test ideas and sharpen the scope

13:00–13:45 · Lunch Sandwiches and refreshments provided

13:45–15:30 · Build Sprint I Hands-on workflow building with live support, starting with the patterns that trip up most first-time builders

15:30–15:45 · Break & Check-In Short break with a mid-session progress check

15:45–17:15 · Build Sprint II & Refinement Polish, test, and tighten your workflow. Draft your playbook as you go and finalise your demo

17:15–18:00 · Demo & Prize Each participant presents their workflow. A prize goes to the best one
