Four brilliant women will gather to debate (not discuss, debate!) various statements about AI.AI discussions at events too often rush toward consensus without actually considering challenging or opposing perspectives, making them feel... repetitive. Often some constructive but thought-provoking considerations are completely off-limits, but not here!We’re bringing something truly exciting: an intellectual challenge, a thrilling debate, an opportunity to hear them present convincing arguments for or against various statements —regardless of their personal views! Of course, there will also be time for them to share their actual perspectives—and for the audience to join the conversation too. Meet our Debators:1) Maaike Harbers is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence &amp; Society at Hogeschool Rotterdam, specialising in responsible AI design. With a PhD from Utrecht University and research experience at TU Delft, she develops methods and tools to help organisations design and use AI ethically. Collaborating with industry, government, and healthcare partners, she explores AI’s impact on values like inclusivity, autonomy, and sustainability. Her work also examines who shapes AI decisions and how organisations can ensure diverse perspectives are included.2) Eliana Bergamin is a PhD candidate at Erasmus AiPact, researching the societal impact of AI in healthcare. Her work explores how AI influences human moral development, focusing on changes in moral emotions like empathy, sympathy, and compassion. As part of Erasmus AiPact, she contributes to interdisciplinary research that ensures AI benefits society. By engaging key stakeholders, she helps shape expectations for AI’s integration in healthcare and beyond.3) Loes Rojer is the Lead Responsible AI and AI Governance at KPN, where she ensures ethical and accountable AI practices. In addition to her work in AI, she serves as a district council member in Rotterdam Centrum, advocating for citizens' interests and shaping local policies. Passionate about intersectional justice, she specialises in tackling complex, multi-disciplinary challenges with a data-driven, inclusive, and critical approach. Her work bridges technology, governance, and social responsibility to create meaningful impact.4) Estefania Hernandez is the CEO &amp; Co-Founder of Everday, helping companies identify skill gaps through smart data. A passionate entrepreneur with 10 years of experience, she has built tech startups with strong social impact. As founder of Mi Dulce Hogar, she created jobs for 800+ women and delivered 100,000+ services. Recognized by Forbes as one of Mexico’s 30 promising entrepreneurs, she also joined the 500 Startups program. She actively mentors female founders in LATAM, supporting their growth in the tech industry.
