ALBUM RELEASE SHOW Bram van Langen & orchestra at De Ceuvel, Amsterdam

On Thursday November 27th Bram van Langen & his Orchestra will present his new album 'Island' 🎶

I finally did it!! I recorded a full length album!

The album title is 'Island', and I will be releasing it by the end of the month.

And on Thursday November 27th I'm going to give a big show and a big party to celebrate this milestone with you all.

It will be at Dean Medina's wonderfull boat 'Hupsaké' at De Ceuvel in Amsterdam, NL (turn right onto the meandering path after you've gone through the Ceuvel gate and just follow the path...)

I'll be joined by some amazing musicians:

Joshua Lutz aka Halfpastseven on keys

Tjalle Rens on cello

Tim Langedijk on guitar, bass and vocals

Willy Bcw on trombone

Ralph de Rijke on alto saxophone, vocals and mandolin

Jara Holdert aka Lewin on vocals and guitar

Anne Grootveld on vocals

There will be special features, there will be drinks, my mom will bring some homemade boterkoek, there'll be other snacks too, and last but not least.... there will be actual LP's (vinyls) and CD's for sale!

And most of all, I would like you all to be there; to celebrate, be moved, sing along, eat cake, or just sit on the floor with your eyes closed.

All of the proceeds will go to all of the musicians involved. There will be QR-codes to pay for the entrance, the vinyls/CD's and for donations.

De Ceuvel, Amsterdam - at the 'Hupsaké' boat (when you enter the Ceuvel area, turn right onto a wooden pathway meandering through boats on land. Just before you've reached the water, you'll find the 'Hupsaké' boat, also known as 'Dean's boat').

Info on the artist:

Bram van Langen is an Amsterdam-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He studied guitar at the Alkmaar Conservatory. Bram has given more than 1000 shows throughout Europe; from Iceland to Portugal, from Paris to Berlin, from Sweden to Sicily. He has also performed on major stages such as Paradiso and Melkweg, Amsterdam. He also plays as a sideman in other acts such as The Coo, Lewin and Mitch Julius.

Bram is currently playing with an ensemble - a long-cherished dream to perform with an orchestra. Here he reinterprets his music with new arrangements, sensitive melody lines and sometimes complex harmonies in an often eclectic composition of instruments (cello, alto saxophone, trombone, piano and Portuguese mandolin.

Inspired by artists like Nick Drake, Paul Simon and Paul McCartney he has a similar affinity for pleasing melodies and warm, mesmerizing harmonies in which the listener can find a calm place to wander Join us for this special night. Looking forward to welcome you at the Hupsaké Boat at De Ceuvel!
