During the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, meet other people who have recently moved to the Netherlands, and exchange stories about your experiences living abroad.

Your host is a local Amsterdam tour guide who also moved to the Netherlands and understands what it feels like to start a new life in a different country. Feel free to ask questions about Dutch culture, daily life, traveling around the Netherlands, neighborhoods, traditions, or anything else you are curious about.

Food and drinks are ordered separately at the restaurant, giving everyone the freedom to choose what they like. If you want to try traditional Dutch dishes, your host will be happy to recommend local specialties and explain what they are.
