WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
Raise your energy frequency through this one hour class! A purifying experience, both physically and mentally. Helping you to align body and mind and feeling the power within, leaving you ready to conquer the day with ease. No matter what comes on your way!
The yoga sequence is rooted in the traditional Himalayan yogic practices, such as Hatha Yoga, Kriya Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Nidra incorporating meditation and yogic breath-work techniques.
Our unique class provides more than just a yoga practice. After the class, for those who feel like it, we make time to connect with each other, have a tea or coffee and discussing all things life, spirituality and more. This gathering is not just about Yoga, but also about building a supportive community.
It is an opportunity to connect within and also with others. Immerse yourself in this transformative experience!
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
We embody the meaning of Yoga in its traditional form: “Yoga is Union.” Meaning, this class is for everyone, both beginner and experienced. For example there is no need to know how to meditate, the class will be adjusted accordingly, to suit the whole group. Don't worry, be happy.
ELIGIBILITY:
Some breathing and yogic practices may not be suitable for people with heart conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy, bipolar disorder and women during pregnancy. Always consult with your doctor for advise or approval. Also notify the teacher upfront of the class of any conditions or limitations you may have.
GOOD TO KNOW:
- BRING YOUR OWN MAT
- Wear comfortable clothing, and we advise not to eat anything heave 1.5-2 hours before the practice. Class will be held in English, but fluent Dutch is spoken by the teacher as well.

OUR STORY
My name is Rocinta. With over 7 years of yoga experience I will be guiding you on this journey.
Years ago, I realised that prioritising outer life over inner life wasn't sustainable. So, I left the corporate world behind, took some time off of work and traveled the globe in a camper in search of freedom and inner-peace. Surprisingly, the more I searched, the more I found that 'peace' or 'freedom', neither outside or within, was a true challenge to find in today’s world. The more I searched for it, the more restless I became.
This quest led me to India, where I live for a couple of months and immersed myself in an intensive yoga training under the guidance of a true Himalayan yoga master. It was there I discovered the transformative power of traditional yoga and ancient practices such as mantra meditation, which finally brought me the inner peace I longed for. Through personal expierences, I learned that a happy, healthy life begins with a state of inner peace. We cannot live our best lives unless we are mentally stress-free.
So the idea behind Anahata Yoga emerged from my personal need for more inner peace. It was ‘that’ what I needed the most myself, that makes me now determined to sharing the practices with others so they can experience it too. Through sharing the practice I want to help and empower people find more moments of inner-peace.

You do not need any prior experience in Kundalini Kriya yoga. This class is open to all levels and the teacher will always adjust the class to the complete group. Being able to sit for on the floor and stand for a couple of minutes without effort is a the base requirement for our class.
Yes your yoga mat and a if needed a block or cushion to sit on.
To ensure better experience try to avoid heavy meals 1.5 to 2 hours before class. Some breathing techniques are best to practice on an empty stomach.
