Anil Xavier is the President of Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation and the Vice-President of the India International ADR Association has been a practitioner in India for the past 29 years. Anil is a SIMI Certified Mediator and also the first IMI Certified Mediator from India. He is also a member of the Indian Arbitration Forum and is the Vice President (International Affiliations) of “Mediators India”. He is a member of IMI Certification Committee of the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of the Supreme Court of India. Additionally, he is empanelled as an Arbitrator with the High Court of Kerala in India.

Anil’s hard work and commitment earned him the nomination as one of the world’s leading practitioner in the field of ADR by Who’s Who Legal from 2016 onwards. He has presented papers on mediation and arbitration in various international Conferences and Symposiums and his works have been published both nationally and internationally. On 6th May, Anil will share his insights on India and the Singapore Convention on Mediation.

This seminar will take place online using Zoom. It is free to 'e-ttend', though there is also the option of making a donation to IMI in the registration process.

The seminar will consist of a brief introduction from IMI, then a 15 minute talk from the speaker, followed by the opportunity for 25 minutes' Q&A / discussion.
