A unique 5-day practitioner's training, applying AI methodology at a local organization. Helping them find their strengths and improving your practical skills and deepening your understanding of appreciative inquiry.

What will happen?

You will learn more about Appreciative Inquiry in early morning learning sessions.
You will be part of an international consultancy team working with a client organization in Paramaribo.
You will apply the 4D-model with a local business and help them find their strengths
You will enjoy daily supervision and intervision based on the field experience.
And you will get feedback from your team, the other teams, your client and the week’s facilitators.

What will the program look like?

We will start every morning at 8 AM with an early morning session and close every day with the day’s learnings at 4.30 PM, ending at 6 PM. On Monday afternoon you and your team are introduced to the client organization. On Friday afternoon the client organizations visit us to give you feedback and celebrate a week of learning.

In between you work as AI-practitioners with your client.

Pricing

The fee to participate is € 750, - or it's equivalent in US Dollars VAT (21%) excluded.

(note: VAT in the Netherlands is 21%, if you are a registered business outside The Netherlands, taxes will not be added)

Included is:

• 5 days of training and coaching by Joep de Jong and Maarten Thissen.

• hands-on consulting experience in a real local organisation

• all training materials

• use of a conference room

• all refreshments during training hours

• evaluation and certificate

Travel and housing are not included. We recommend booking at SLM or KLM for your flights to Paramaribo. It’s best to book a room or apartment in, or close to the city centre. Call Maarten for recommendations and maybe even a discount. The city is compact, but traffic can be hectic during rush hour.

Why Surinam?

Surinam is a beautiful tropical country with a small, very diverse population. As global prices for Gold and Oil are dropping, the local economy is suffering a crisis and businesses are struggling to find new ways to survive. We think that introducing Appreciative Inquiry will help local businesses find what will make them prosper again.

Cancellation conditions:

Your registration fee will be 75% refundable up till October 25th. After that date we reserve the right to retain the full amount paid. Should we have to cancel, your workshop fee will be returned to you.
