About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Aragon High School Music Department, based in San Mateo, California, is a dynamic and award-winning program that has inspired audiences locally and internationally. Since its founding in 1961, the program has grown to include three vocal ensembles, three orchestras, three wind bands, and two jazz bands—each made up of 20 to 80 talented student musicians. Under the direction of John Chen, Karen Chan, and Kevin Gallagher, Aragon’s ensembles are known for their musical excellence, discipline, and vibrant performances.

This summer, the Aragon High School Music Department is thrilled to return to Ireland—bringing their energy, artistry, and passion for music to new audiences. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this exceptional group live!

For their final performance, Aragon High School is honored to be joined by a traditional Irish Music Ensemble from Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh. Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh is a volunteer-lead, non-profit, Traditional Irish Music Club promoting the learning and enjoyment of the Irish arts on the north side of Dublin City.

They run a broad range of classes covering all Irish Trad music instruments for students of all ages and levels. The club runs four student bands which perform regularly throughout the year in concerts and competitions
