art27 and Musicians Without Borders are teaming up for an event dedicated to artists as changemakers.

About this event

Art plays a vital role in creating a more inclusive, culturally diverse society. Art is a powerful tool that can influence behavior, shape culture and strengthen social bonds.

art27 and Musicians Without Borders are teaming up for an event dedicated to artists as changemakers: artists as advocates, activists and teachers, working towards lasting social change. On June 20, we're offering a program of keynotes, interactive workshops and performances by experienced changemakers. Currently confirmed are:

  • Laura Hassler
  • Bristol Refugee Fest
  • Freemuse
  • Oene van Geel
  • Community Arts Network
  • Manu van Kersbergen & Guus van der Steen

The conference is split into two sessions with a break in between:

  • Session 1 from approx. 15:30 - 18:00 CEST
  • Session 2 from approx. 19:00 - 21:30 CEST

Tickets for this event are free, however we appreciate a donation of any amount via the donation ticket option. All donations will go towards Musicians Without Borders music programs supporting communities affected by war, conflict and displacement.
