“Back to the Future ll”, is an event from Young NVTL, aimed at students and young professionals to discuss the impact of science and technology on our landscape. Science fiction films can be very helpful and inspiring to point out the opportunities and dangers of certain topics. Because it exaggerate a technology, environmental issue or way of thinking in a predicted future. With this event we focus on AI, since it is developing very fast nowadays. With chatGPT and visual image apps it is already possible to generate texts and images. It is revolutionary and will definitely shape our future. Will it be a good assistant for landscape architects and urban planners or will it replace our jobs? Which opportunities and dangers will science fiction films predict? And what can we learn from that?

The ticket includes free drinks and bitesBe aware that the location has been moved from Kerkstraat to Oudegracht 302 (closer to the station) P﻿arking is possible in one of the parking places around €3,50/hour (Parkeergarage Springstraat, Park Bee Lange Nieuwstraat, Station Vaartsche Rijn, etc.)Y﻿ou can take a bus to busstation Stadsschouwburg, take a ov-bike from Utrecht centraal or walk 15 minutes.
