With enough heat and enough hammering, you can shape your own projects from metal. We want to demonstrate how to set up a small-scale forge in your own backyard, complete with bellows and an improvised anvil.

Everyone will get a chance to try their hand at smithing from a selection of different sizes of iron stock. Sample projects for the day include a fire poker, coat hanger, chopsticks, skewer, pendant, rings, and lots more. We hope everyone makes something beautiful to take home.

Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, we are actively drawing down CO2 ourselves to make this forge possible.
