***Dutch below***Do you ever feel alone? It can be difficult to connect with someone else. Especially if the other person behaves differently, looks different or has different standards. Sometimes it seems easier to distance yourself, but yes. Without rapprochement no contact, right?In Brick Ballet, the audience experiences the intangibility, uncertainty and magic of contact when people and a brick installation approach each other. We struggle and search for balance; want to reject, fight, control and surrender to it.With body and bricks, Brick Ballet presents the controversy between harmony and chaos.Developed by Ineke Noordhuizen, Jonice van Gemert and Vitória Aquino, supported by Stichting Cultuur Eindhoven and TAC Eindhoven.****Voel jij je weleens alleen? Het kan lastig zijn om je te verbinden met een ander. Zeker als die ander zich anders gedraagt, er anders uitziet of er andere normen op nahoudt. Het lijkt soms makkelijker afstand te nemen, maar ja. Zonder toenadering geen contact, toch? In Baksteen Ballet ervaart het publiek de ontastbaarheid, onzekerheid, én magie van contact, wanneer mensen en een baksteen installatie elkaar benaderen. We worstelen en zoeken naar balans; willen afwijzen, vechten, beheersen en ons eraan overgeven.Met lichaam en bakstenen presenteert Baksteen Ballet de controverse tussen harmonie en chaos.Ontwikkeld door Ineke Noordhuizen, Jonice van Gemert en Vitória Aquino, gesteund door Stichting Cultuur Eindhoven en TAC Eindhoven.
