This in-person event will take place on Tue Oct 10, 2023 at 15:30 at The Hague Humanity Hub at 58 Fluwelen Burgwal, 2511 CJ Den Haag under theme Failing Forward: Building resilient through innovation.BarefootLaw, as one of the forerunners of innovation in access to justice, invites all the legal enthusiasts for a day of reflection and deliberation on the future of law. How do we collectively force structural changes to make the legal services more accessible for the most underserved persons and communities? How do we creatively use technology to promote access to justice and how can technology be used effectively to achieve the SDG16 goals? As we celebrate this day, we aim to reflect upon our journey, recognizing that innovation often blooms from the seeds of failure. "Failing Forward" as the central theme focuses on the invaluable lessons and opportunities that arise when we embrace innovation in the field of law. It is heartfelt exploration of the lessons, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped BarefootLaw’s journey in redefining access to justice in grassroots communitiesThe program begins with a short film on our journey, a keynote address by Gerald Abila, Founder BarefootLaw, followed by moderated panel discussion and concluding with networking reception. Come celebrate with us as we look back on ten years of using technology and innovation to facilitate access to justice.
