BCN Conference Nothing but the Truth

The ResearchSchool of Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN) is a research and training center  for the study of normal and pathological processes of the nervous system at the University of Groningen and the University of Twente, the Netherlands.Our main objectives are twofold:-initiate, stimulate  and integrate scientific research on the biological bases of behavioural and   cognitive processes-to provide our PhD  students with an integrated training program consisting of courses, lectures, master classes, workshops, seminars, symposia and multidisciplinary researchSome 300 senior researchers, 50 postdoctoral researchers and about 250 PhD students from five faculties within the University of Groningen participate in BCN. Research ranges from molecular processes to the whole organism and from yeast to humans.

<p>The truthfulness of Science, in both the public and scientific arenas, has been a topic of much debate in recent years. The Nothing But The Truth conference focuses on two themes that are crucial for the credibility and impact of science in society: (1) Truth in Science and (2) The exchange of knowledge between science and society, at the levels of international agencies, national and regional governments, and the general public.
