Comparing to the first UCITS regulation (1985 which was implemented in Belgian Law in 1990), the AIFMD and UCITS V are the key legislative pieces which upgraded the role of the “depositary function for investment funds”.

The workshop intends to illustrate this evolution, whereby we would like to work with examples or project descriptions of good practices. After a long wave of regulatory documents, we would like to show what this finally means for the business practices in the field.
