After several talks abroad, the production team behind the Space Beers film universe is finally bringing their "Beer, Aliens, and Blockchain" - talk to Amsterdam. Join us for an evening with beer, food and a presentation that goes far beyond the production of this wacky space adventure. Get a unique glimpse at the development cycle, the design process, the aliens (!), and hear about the challenges of making sci-fi films in the Netherlands.

This talk is in English and is followed by a Q & A session with the filmmakers.

ABOUT SPACE BEERS

The brainchild of director / producer Maurice Schutte and screenwriter Philip M. Howe (who met during a boozy night out during the Cannes Film Festival), the universe of Space Beers will hold many stories. The first story has been released - an animated prologue to introduce Zendra and Talia, which is soon to be followed up by a live action short called Space Beers: The Beginning and then the feature length film ‘Space Beers.’

The Space Beers universe is, well, as big as the universe! But what you probably didn’t know is that most of the aliens out there are as bored as we are. Sure, some have all the latest gizmos, like faster-than-light travel, flying bubble drunk tanks, and A.I. powered alien abduction machines, but what they don’t have is Earth beer! Well, they didn’t, until a young Scot named Jed is abducted by two bored, sociopathic alien girls on a bender, in Space Beers: The Beginning.
