Studio 150 - Bethlehemkerk is a state of the art music recording facility, a live music venue, a livestreaming temple and whatever else we want it to be. It is built in a completely renovated monumental church from 1924, only one metro station away from Amsterdam Central Station.

Drummer en National Treasure John Engels z&#x27;n 85e verjaardag is in 2020 &#x27;for obvious reasons&#x27; in het water gevallen. Wat groots gevierd zou worden met concerten door heel het land, werd een jaar van afzeggingen en telkens verplaatste concerten. Inmiddels is John 86 en gaan voorzichtig de clubs weer open. Zo ook de mogelijkheid om voor publiek te spelen. Benjamin Herman had deze twee opnamesessies in Studio 150 gepland als jaarafsluiting in 2020. Inmiddels na twee keer te zijn verplaatst en geannuleerd is nu, met het verruimen van de coronaregels, drie keer scheepsrecht. Op donderdag 22 en vrijdag 23 juli opent het prachtige Studio 150 Bethlehemkerk in Amsterdam-Noord haar deuren voor dertig personen per avond om de opnames bij te wonen.John is een icoon met fans in alle muzikale genres en door alle leefgroepen heen. Jonge en oude musici staan te popelen om met John te spelen. Zijn fenomenale inzet en energie is een bron van inspiratie voor iedereen die hem ooit live heeft zien optreden.
