Kick off 2026 with a bang at the Berlage Comedy! 🚀 We’re shaking off the winter chill with January Jive & Jokes—an evening of top-tier English stand-up comedy featuring a fresh lineup of hilarious talent ready to start your year with a laugh.

After a massive 2025 featuring our April Frenzy, Summer Spectacular, and Holly Jolly Hilarity, we are back to prove that January is the best time for a comedy comeback!

The Amsterdam Comedy Club, a collaboration between AIC (Amsterdam International Community), expatsHaarlem, and expatshaarlemmermeer, is the most social Comedy Club in Amsterdam and surroundings. Comedians

Edo Berger (headliner)

Edo Berger won several Dutch comedy festivals before expanding to performing in English. He has performed as far away as Tokyo, Moscow and Oman. His radio column on Q-music was nominated for the Silver Reiss-microphone for best radio item. You can check out his documentary about the comedian love for anecdotes about horrible comedy gigs, called Dictator of Comedy, on Youtube.

Rami Nima

Mixing the dark with the weird and lacing it all with clever punchlines and brought in a hilariously dry tone. Rami won't convince you of anything. His method is subtle and will desoriëntate you in an unusual way. Rami won the Griffioen comedy festival 2021.

Richard Walker

I’ve been living in Amsterdam so long I thought I was Dutch but then I looked at my passport and it turns out I’m British. Sorry.

Ann Cassano

Ann Cassano is a stand-up comedian with the voice of a cartoon mouse and the rage of a menopausal Bond villain. In a world obsessed with youth, she’s here for the overlooked, the over-40, the dangerously under-courted women. It’s where midlife crisis meets murder fantasy. Catch her before she is off to bake muffins. Or start her own cult. Probably both.

Daria Morozova

Daria likes real and made-up words. Some words she says make more sense than the others; some of those that make sense are also arguably funny.

Sean Little

Upcoming London (UK) based comedian, who started out performing to the mice in his flat! Encouraged by their overwhelming presence at his home shows, he is now chasing real laughs on the comedy circuit! Sean also believes it's better to laugh than cry unless you're crying laughing!!
