BIG-Cluster Stakeholders Meeting 

The BioInnovation Growth mega-Cluster (BIG-Cluster) is a cross-border ‘Smart Specialisation Initiative’ aiming to transform Europe’s industrial mega cluster in the Flanders region of Belgium (Fl), The Netherlands (NL) and the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) into the global leader of bio-based innovation growth. The overarching goal is a comprehensive feedstock change with a focus on regionally available and sustainable raw materials, climate protection and the safeguarding of jobs in the mega region. BIG-Cluster was initiated by the three cluster organisations BE-Basic (NL), Catalisti (Fl, Belgium) and CLIB2021 (NRW, Germany).

<P CLASS="BasicParagraph"><SPAN>BIG-Cluster would like to invite you to the stakeholders meeting: take the chance to meet interesting players working on bio-based innovation from the Flanders region of Belgium, The Netherlands and the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The matchmaking event will inform you about ongoing and upcoming projects under the BIG-Cluster umbrella. Together with all stakeholders we would like to outline the way how to move forward and to identify innovative ideas, form consortia and start projects to foster the bioeconomy in the BIG-Cluster region. Topics are “Aromatics from woody biomass”, “C1 gases to chemicals”, “Aviation fuels from various feedstocks” and “Circular economy education”.</SPAN></P>
