Migratory fish typically don’t receive the attention they deserve. That’s why on World Fish Migration Day, thousands of organizations from New Zealand to Hawaii come together and host their own events to celebrate and raise awareness for the incredible migratory fish and free flowing rivers around us. This year, we particularly want to celebrate the return of free-flowing rivers thanks to barrier removal, and the many river heroes who help bring life rushing back to the veins of the Earth.
