Cacao Ritual & Co-Working for Entrepreneurs – VAT Return Q3 2025

Hi self-employed professionals in the holistic field of The Netherlands,

Are you a (recently) self-employed professional handling your own taxes and finding yourself with questions every time? Am I doing this correctly? Where should I fill in what? Is the administrative side not really your thing, but you still have to do it yourself? Then you are very welcome to join this co-working afternoon!

We will open the afternoon with a heart-opening cup of cacao and some light bodywork to give our system a beacon of warmth and safety, before opening our laptops.

About me:

Since February 2025, I have been fully self-employed after starting this journey in 2023. I began this alongside my previous office job at a well-known bike brand, where I worked for almost four years on the financial administration of B2B clients. Letting go of the security and stability this gave me, I started reinventing everything. Which programs do I need for this completely different field? What is the most cost-effective choice? How do I combine administrative work with the REAL work? Where can I go with all my questions? When can I finally pay myself a salary? How do I deal with the fear of the unknown, and how do I support myself through performance anxiety?

These are just a fraction of the questions and inner themes that cycle through, each time bringing a new lesson.

All jobs have always felt temporary because I was never 100% myself. Not that there was no possibility, but it wasn’t necessary. From unfinished teaching studies, tourism, hospitality, retail to office work – I tried it all and learned so much. Each workplace supported my inner journey differently, often through experiences of “this is not for me,” which led to the question: “but then what is?” This exploration was long frustrating and demotivating, leaving me feeling like I didn’t fully belong anywhere. Over the last two years, I’ve integrated these questions in a new way: to keep asking is to keep learning about life and about myself.

Returning to myself awakened something from very early on. As a little girl, I wanted to become a massage therapist. Beyond kitchen play, shops, and tag, I sometimes opened a doll massage salon in the play corner. I started listening to that little girl within me. This led to various courses and books on the body, different massage styles from various origins and traditions, Chinese medicine, and herbal medicine. Then I took the leap, quit my job fully in February 2025. I found spaces to give sessions and offered them to friends and family to discover my own “house style,” both individually and in groups.

This has now developed into a formula: using heart-opening cacao, meditation, bodywork, and sound to guide participants into a deep, relaxed state of being. Here, the body can rest, restore, cleanse, and make new connections, allowing you to awaken into a reality where your intention is already alive. After this philosophical approach, I integrate it as practically as possible. No matter how deep or spiritual it is, if it cannot be applied in daily life, it often leads to more questions and frustration.

I also love supporting self-employed professionals with their administration. Your back office should work for you, not the other way around. To make this happen, sometimes things need to be researched or digitally organized. My previous experience makes me very skilled in this!

Why I do this:

By starting with yourself, your body, and the beautiful medicine of cacao, we can identify the core questions or themes. Usually, there is a connection between inner tension and practical implementation, including in business! By giving space to yourself first, clarity can arise about your relationship to your work – and therefore to an essential organ: your finances.

In the holistic field, I often hear people struggling with the “business and financial” side: from issuing invoices to figuring out what rates to charge. One of the biggest challenges is the fear of financial instability.

This gathering makes all of this discussable and opens the cozy space of Healing People for a combination of ceremony & practical work. Most of the time, we can figure things out ourselves, but it’s easier and faster when we voice our questions out loud. In this workspace, there’s a 99% chance you’ll be able to ask your questions and receive answers – and even discover how deeply these questions are embedded in your system. If a practical question cannot be resolved within the group, I will have my laptop ready to research it on the spot.

Expect for the first 1–2 hours:

- Cacao prayers

- Sharing circle about roadblocks

- Light active bodywork

Then the co-working session:

- 3 hours to work on / complete your Q3 tax return

- Space to ask specific questions – I’m here not only for answers but also for guidance in approaching and exploring your questions yourself

If you finish within the 3 hours, you may leave earlier.

*From 18:30 to 20:00 there will be the opportunity for 1-on-1 bodywork sessions with reiki & sound
