Interactive sessionsDuring this hour-long session, our speakers will showcase the exciting possibilities that arise from the application of cutting-edge cartography technologies. They will take you along on a journey that shows how 'simple' old maps can be enhanced, highlighting how the incorporation of relevant information brings historical landscapes, landmarks, and details to the forefront. By comparing these augmented maps with the present-day reality, you will gain a deeper understanding of the historical context and appreciate the changes that have occurred over time. The end result is an interactive map that facilitates user interaction.Open stageDuring the open stage, we welcome you (individuals/startups/organizations) with fresh and innovative AI ideas related to the topics mentioned below to present in a 5-minute pitch. About the speakersBoudewijn Koopmans (Amsterdam Time Machine):Boudewijn serves as a project manager at the Amsterdam Time Machine, a renowned public research resource dedicated to the history of Amsterdam. With a focus on establishing connections between Amsterdam's local heritage and its global significance, Boudewijn and his team delve into the historical context of the city. They curate and process extensive amounts of historical data pertaining to Amsterdam and its surrounding areas. In this enlightening presentation, you will gain comprehensive insights into the data collection and processing methodologies employed by the Amsterdam Time Machine.Miguel Pieters (Linear Logic):Miguel is the visionary founder of Linear Logic, a cutting-edge company that offers a data-centric platform designed to streamline the entire lifecycle of Machine Learning. As experts in working with unlabelled data, Linear Logic excels in transforming such data into production-ready ML models.
