IllustrationLadies is a growing creative network for professional illustrators hosted in cities around the globe. We want to support women and encourage conversations in a field where it’s often every (wo)man for themselves. By fostering contacts and sharing information within the network, we help individuals succeed in their business.Our network celebrates the diversity of our illustrators and creates visibility for the profession.T﻿he Amsterdam chapter started in July 2021 with Gaea Poggetti and Veronica Comin, two freelance designers. Since then, the community kept on growing very fast, counting female and non-binary illustrators with diverse backgrounds and talents. We organise events with the mission to create meaningful connections and support each other while giving strength and confidence to pursue an illustration career.In January 2023, Veronica left the hosting role because she moved to a different city in the Netherlands, and Iris van den Akker and Alina Tang joined Gaea in this hosting journey.https://illustrationladies.com/https://www.instagram.com/illustrationladies_amsterdam/?hl=en
