About this event
Online Networking event
Join this online networking session and make new connections with people interested or working in the cacao industry. Networking is easier in person (or not), yet we are lucky that there are tools available to make networking possible online. By using Wonderme we hope to give you a similar experience as in person. Grab a drink and some snacks and get ready to expand your network. It will be fun, promised.
Chocolate for Everyone week 15 to 17 December 2021.
This event is part of the Chocolate for Everyone week from 15-17 December 2021 organized by the Centre for Economic Transformations* from the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. During this week we zoom in on the big question: how can we close the living income gap in the cacao industry? Several panel discussions are organized with stakeholders from the industry to shed light on different pathways how we could close this income gap. We will look at the role of transparency, biodiversity and close the week with exploring different perspectives what should be done to create only fair and sustainable chocolate bars.

What is the Centre for Economic Transformation?
The Centre for Economic Transformation (CET) offers a platform where new ideas on economics take shape in practice-oriented research and education. We work together with business community, social organizations and governments on economic issues that affect society, both nationally and internationally, because we are all connected within one singular large system. For more information about CET click here.
*The programme has been adjusted due to covid-19. We hope to organize the 'Chocolate for Everyone' week next year in 2022.
