What do I wear?

Come dressed to move for the first two sessions — dance shoes or clean, white-soled sneakers work best.

For the final session, you’re invited to lean into the Bad Romance world: dark glamour, sharp silhouettes, a little drama if it feels right.

Completely optional. Entirely encouraged.

Is this the original choreography?

Accepted Answer

This series works with the structure and performance energy of Bad Romance.

The choreography is adapted for a studio rehearsal format while staying true to the inspiration and movement language that define it.

Do I need dance experience?

Accepted Answer

Dance experience will help, but it isn’t required.

The format supports focus and progression. We’re working with inspired material and staying with it through repetition across three sessions. You build into it gradually — and you’ll find your way into the choreography as we go.

I haven’t danced in years — will I be able to keep up?

We work through a set choreography and build it section by section across three sessions. There’s repetition, structure and time to settle into the movement.

Will we perform publicly?

No. The series takes place in a closed studio environment.

The final session focuses on running the routine in full, multiple times, in a performance-led format. Any documentation or performance-adjacent moments are optional.

The emphasis is on completing the choreography with intention.

Can I drop in for one session?

This is a contained series.

The choreography builds progressively across all three sessions and is designed to be completed in full. To keep the arc intact for everyone, booking covers the entire series.

What if I miss a session?

Because the choreography builds progressively, attendance across all three sessions is strongly recommended.

We’ll share recordings so you can practise afterwards if needed. The experience works best when you’re in the room.
