Roth is a New-York based guitarist and composer. Both his songwriting and improvised music practice allow him to explore the guitar’s range of sounds and the way musical forms evolve over time. He is interested in exploring the vast palette of sounds and textures available on the guitar without effects, objects or pedals. Coudoux is a German based cellist, composer and artist. She consistently questions her deep roots in traditional music in experimental constellations of interdisciplinary encounters. Improvised music is her main interest, especially the development of shared forms in real time, the creation of communicative structures, also with optional electronic enhancements, costumes, or installative sound objects. Elisabeth Coudoux was Nica artist and nominated in 2019 for SWR Jazzprice and 2021 for German jazz price.
