Let’s lighten up the cold days with handmade candle holders and a cozy creative atmosphere. During this Clay & Connect workshop, you’ll work with air-dry clay to create your own unique candle holder : from floral shapes to playful designs or minimalist forms.

This workshop is all about slowing down, creating with your hands, and connecting with others. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed, social setting where creativity flows naturally and conversations start easily.

No experience with clay is needed. We guide you step by step, while always leaving room for your own ideas and personal style.

✨ Creative freedom is encouraged:
While we’ll focus on candle holders, if you feel inspired to create something else (a small bowl, tray, or decorative object), there is absolutely room for that. Your creativity leads the way!!

🧱 What you’ll learn

During this session, you’ll learn:

• How to work with air-dry clay
• Basic hand-building techniques (pinching, shaping, smoothing)
• How to create stable forms for candle holders
• Texture and detailing techniques
• Tips for drying and colouring your piece at home later

Beginner-friendly and suitable for all levels.

You’ll learn simple techniques, get personal guidance, and create your own project beginner-friendly, yet meaningful for all levels.

📍 Where?
Workshops take place in different studios across Amsterdam, and in summer we sometimes host outdoor picnic-style sessions.
