Be part of our next ZO Impact Hero mission: CleanUp Day in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

On Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 11:00, we invite neighbours, families, students, volunteers and community-minded residents to come together for a positive action day around Ganzenhoef metro station.

Litter is a visible issue in the neighbourhood, but together we can respond with action, care and community spirit. During this CleanUp Day, we will collect litter, raise awareness and show that small local actions can create a bigger positive change.

This CleanUp Day is part of ZO Impact Hero, a community impact concept developed by Futurum Nobis Foundation and brought to life together with partners. Participants receive a ZO Impact Hero T-shirt (unless already received) and collect impact stickers for each mission or event they join. Step by step, the black-and-white T-shirt becomes more colourful, turning into a personal impact story that shows the positive actions someone has taken in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Each sticker represents real participation, from cleanups to other community, social or sustainability activities.

Whether you already joined a previous ZO Impact Hero mission or this is your first one, you are welcome to take part.

What to expect:

• A friendly community CleanUp activity
• Positive action against litter in Amsterdam Zuidoost
• A chance to meet other residents, volunteers and local changemakers
• A ZO Impact Hero T-shirt (if not received previously) and/or impact sticker for your participation
• A simple way to contribute to a cleaner, more caring neighbourhood
