Accepted Answer

Bring your items to event, check them in, and receive points in your digital wallet via your personal QR code. You can then use those points to shop for other items at the event.

Do I need to bring items to participate?

No. If you already have points from previous events, you can use them without bringing items. First-time visitors also receive 5 welcome points.

What items are accepted?

We accept:

Clean, good-condition clothing

Bags & accessories

New-condition shoes

Unworn jewelry

Unopened cosmetics

All items must be clean, complete, and ready to be re-loved.

How is the points system calculated?

Points are based on:

Item type (e.g. coat vs. t-shirt)

Quality & condition

Material & seasonality

Higher-quality, durable, and in-demand items receive more points. Our team evaluates each item individually to keep the system fair.

How many points do items usually get?

This varies, but most items receive 1–5 points. Special or high-quality pieces may receive more.

Question 6

What happens to unused points?

Accepted Answer

Your points never expire. Any unused points stay in your digital wallet and can be used at future Swap Club events.

What happens to leftover items?

Items not swapped during events may:

Stay in The Swap Club inventory for future events

Be donated to trusted local partners

We aim to keep items in circulation as long as possible.

Selling takes time, effort, and luck. Swapping is instant, social, money-free, and keeps items moving locally — better for people and the planet.
