Clôture Électronique is Jostijn Ligtvoet, a musician exploring the borderland between acoustic and electronic sounds. His cello and modular synthesizer together create a unique sound world, with improvisation at its core. Through heavy repetition and a love for noise and long tones, he builds mesmerizing compositions. His pieces are filled with his own recordings, seamlessly blending with the sounds of the synthesizer, allowing familiar and alien elements to continuously alternate.

Clôture Électronique is Jostijn Ligtvoet, een muzikant die het grensgebied tussen akoestisch en elektronisch verkent. Zijn cello en modulaire synthesizer vormen samen een unieke klankwereld, waarin improvisatie centraal staat. Met veel herhalingen en een liefde voor ruis en lange tonen bouwt hij hypnotiserende composities. Zijn stukken zijn gevuld met eigen opnames die zich naadloos vermengen met de geluiden van de synthesizer, waardoor herkenbare en vervreemdende elementen elkaar voortdurend afwisselen.
