Colonial Endurance: A Discussion

Nieuwe Instituut is het nationale museum voor architectuur, design en digitale cultuur. Nieuwe Instituut houdt zich bezig met de grote ontwikkelingen in de maatschappij, zoals de krapte op de woningmarkt, de energietransitie, de opkomst van kunstmatige intelligentie, mobiliteit of het gebruik van de publieke ruimte. Ontwerpers, waaronder architecten en digitale makers, kunnen aan die ontwikkelingen een belangrijke bijdrage leveren. Nieuwe Instituut toont het werk van ontwerpers, brengt mensen met elkaar in contact, verzamelt, ontwikkelt en deelt kennis.

Join the discussion around the immersive exhibition Colonial Endurance to examine the lasting impact of colonial architectural processes.

<p>In a discussion based on the exhibition <em>Colonial Endurance: Detecting the Algorithm of Violence in Infrastructures</em>, curators Ola Hassanain and Lesia Topolnyk join invited speakers and Nieuwe Instituut staff members to respond to the narratives presented in the exhibition and talk about their practices and projects related to colonial endurance and the future principles of infrastructural relations and connections. </p>
