About this event
It seems like “community care” is thrown around left and right, but how do we actually practice it?
In this 2 hour long guided exploration, we will dive into this important topic together.
💛 About the workshop
In times like these, when the world feels overwhelming, divided and even unsafe at times, many of us long for community and building networks of care that can actually support and sustain us. Its clear that we need each other to heal and thrive, but when individualism is all we are taught, building community based support systems can feel like a daunting task.
So, how do we actually go about it? And how is it - or is it not - showing up in our own lives?
During this workshop, we will explore “community care” together through a guided mind map: what comes up for us when when hear this word? What embodied knowledge do we already carry? And what are some practical examples of how community care can show up in our daily lives?
This workshop is meant for everybody who is interested in practicing community care, in big or small ways. No previous experience needed.
Participants can join on or off camera during this event.
