Connecting with the Earth: A morning gardening at Voedseltuin Ijplein

Join us for a day of growth, learning, and community at the local Moestuin!

In our everyday lives, with food so easily available in supermarkets, we often lose touch with where it comes from. This event offers a chance to reconnect with the process of growing food.

A knowledgeable volunteer will guide us through the garden, introducing the variety of fruits and vegetables grown there. During this hands-on experience, we’ll dig, plant, and care for the garden, all while building connections with fellow community members and volunteers.

Learn about organic gardening and the impact of Voedseltuin IJplein, which donates most of its fresh produce to the Voedselbank in Amsterdam Noord.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious to get your hands in the soil!
