The COP27 in Egypt is entering the second week of negotiations and as broad discussion among attendees and climate experts shows, there is still a lot to be done to deliver on the landmark Paris Agreement for the people and planet.For those who would like to participate in the opportunity to unpack the results and dive in deeper, the Amsterdam Sustainability Institute organises a debrief of the conference as part of the lecture series SDG Academy. What are the key outcomes of the negotiations and which steps have to be taken now to tackle the wide range of challenges? Our speakers, who returned to COP27 share their insights on what progress has been made since last year. Moreover, we briefly touch upon the issue of accessibility which impacts participation of some actors.On November 23, Wednesday from 15.00 to 16.00h at the Green Office VU (Main building basement next to the cafeteria), researchers of VU Amsterdam Eszter Szedlacsek and Xiaoran Li and ASI Director Philipp Pattberg will share their reflections and discuss which roles stakeholders around the world have now.For any questions, reach out to info.asi@vu.nl
