Corporate venturing, i.e. the creation of new business in the context of established organizations, is gaining momentum worldwide and is crucial for the long-term survival of companies. On December 3rd Corporate Venturing Network and Rotterdam School of Management will organize the 3rd Corporate Venturing &amp; Entrepreneurship Summit. <h3>This year, the main theme of the event will be on “Connecting the dots” – learning to collaborate with different partners as part of an ecosystem strategy. </h3>The Summit brings together professionals from corporates and researchers from academia from all over Europe to share their knowledge and experiences on the different aspects of Corporate Venturing. It is a unique opportunity to network with corporate venturing professionals, researchers and VCs. This year, the keynote speakers will be:<ul><li>Ard-Pieter de Man, Professor at VU Amsterdam</li><li>Mirjam Ros, Co-author of &#x27;The Innovation Matrix&#x27; </li><li>Francesco Di Lorenzo, Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School</li><li>Wendy Kwaks, Programme Manager transition armed forces at Ministry of Defence</li><li>Ernst Hoestra - CEO Erasmus Enterprise</li></ul> The summit will be a mix of online/hybrid session (morning) and offline workshops (afternoon).The summit also provides you an excellent opportunity to extend your network, providing you a unique opportunity to network with corporate venturing professionals, researchers and VC’s . The target audience for this summit are corporate innovation and venturing professionals and people involved in creating new business within their company as well as academics, conducting research on corporate venturing and entrepreneurship. For academics, this conference is particularly interesting as it will help them to increase their awareness of contemporary issues in corporate venturing practice, thereby increasing the impact of their work.
