Spend your Saturday afternoon crocheting, learning and creating together at El Warsha.

Crochet Open Workshop is a relaxed workshop where everyone can work on something different.

Never crocheted before? You're welcome to join. We'll help you get started with the basics and guide you through your first stitches.

Already have a crochet project? Bring it with you and use the afternoon to make some progress, get help when you're stuck and crochet alongside others.

Have an idea for something you'd like to make? Choose a pattern, pick your yarn and start a new project.

There is no single project that everyone has to complete and no pressure to work at the same pace. The workshop is designed to give you the space, guidance and company to enjoy crochet in your own way.

It's also a chance to slow down, meet new people and spend a creative Saturday afternoon together.

What's included in your ticket?

Your ticket includes:

2.5 hours at El Warsha

A relaxed workspace where you can crochet at your own pace.

Crochet guidance

Guidance is available throughout the workshop, whether you're learning your first stitches or need some help with a project you're already working on.

Please note that this is a shared workshop rather than one-to-one tuition, so guidance is divided between everyone attending.

Tea, coffee and refreshments

Tea, coffee, water and a small snack will be available during the afternoon.

Use of shared basic tools

Some basic tools can be used during the session when available.

Yarn, patterns & materials

Yarn, crochet patterns and selected materials will be available to purchase at El Warsha.

This means you don't need to arrive with a complete project planned. You can browse the available projects, choose something you'd like to make and purchase what you need during the workshop.

Materials and patterns are not included in the ticket price.

You're also completely welcome to bring your own yarn, pattern, hook and project.

Yes.

If you've never crocheted before, we can help you learn the basic stitches and get started with a simple project.

If you would prefer a more structured introduction to crochet with dedicated step-by-step teaching, you can also join our Beginner Crochet Workshop, where we focus specifically on learning the foundations of crochet.

If you already crochet

This workshop is also for you.

Bring that project you've been meaning to finish, start something new, get help with a difficult section or simply enjoy having dedicated time to crochet with other people.

You don't need to need help to join.
