About this event
December 11 - Special Edition of hackLab!
This edition of the c@tfish hackLab is a lecture by Johan van Kreij.
Studio LOOS is the perfect location for the workshops, as there are multiple useful tools, instruments, as well as shared guidance for creators and artists with different experience in electronics. Our goal is to create an artistic hub where people work on projects that can include electronics, sensors, micro-controllers, code, and where experts can offer help.
the hackLab model is based on sharing insight and experience
Your own question may be the incentive for joining, and by finding solutions you may naturally help others too. Building a community of knowledge and support is the most important outcome of this initiative. Studio LOOS has a connection with lots of musicians and artists, and many among them are working with electronics for specific projects or art pieces. Beyond this natural habitat, anyone working with Arduino and related technology is very welcome to participate. The workshop might be interesting even if your project is not at all connected to the arts. Regardless if you are working on a project, you are very much invited to come over and have a taste of the atmosphere.
For whom is the hackLab intended?
C@tfish hackLab café is intended for anyone who is working on a project that involves electronics and code. You might be stuck on a problem, or you might be looking for inspiration, a new solution. The experience of the organizer(s) may either help you to move forward or set you on track for finding the solution yourself.
All experience levels are welcome, but be prepared to get your hands dirty.
The hackLab is for all ages.
