Cube #DDW16 film: Design Disruptors

Cube design museum, gevestigd op het Museumplein te Kerkrade, is een plek voor innovatie, (inter)nationaal design en co-creatie met de bezoekers. Cube richt zich op design ‘for human needs’. Oftewel, hoe zet je ontwerp in voor menselijke behoeften, zoals gezondheid, voedsel, onderdak, veiligheid etc.In tegenstelling tot andere design musea laat Cube niet alleen design zien; het is ook een plek waar kennis wordt gedeeld en nieuwe inzichten tot leven komen. Zo ontdekken bezoekers het verhaal achter het ontwerp, van brainstorm tot prototype. Elk jaar biedt de instelling onderdak aan 30 studenten en ontwerpers die daadwerkelijk het designproces doorlopen vanaf de behoefte tot de uiteindelijke uitwerking.
