This erotic ceramics workshop invites participants to explore desire, touch, and personal expression through the sensual language of clay.
The workshop is guided by artist Sanna Pöyhönen in her fairytalish atelier in Zaandam, where also her Bondage Bunny art series is on display.
The event embraces playful provocation and vulnerability as creative tools. Participant will shape erotic objects — functional or purely expressive — while engaging with the tactile intimacy of clay. Form, texture, and glaze are used to evoke sensuality, tension, and pleasure, allowing each piece to carry a unique erotic charge.
The teacher creates a safe, inclusive space for experimentation, reflection, and humor. Participants are encouraged to draw from their own fantasies, boundaries, and curiosities. Through this process, clay becomes a medium not only of form, but of liberation and embodied storytelling.
The event includes a welcoming drink, learning basics of clay hand building techniques, forming your own clay object and glazing it yourself. Delicious selection of colours available in the studio!
The pieces are fired in the artist's studio and available for pick up or shipping after 2-4 wks.
No prior experience in ceramics is needed — just an open mind and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
