DAFT Visa: What happens when you arrive alone?
The DAFT Visa Reality Check: What Happens When You Arrive Alone? A candid conversation about relocation and entrepreneurship abroad.
What Happens When You Arrive Alone?
A candid conversation about relocation and entrepreneurship abroad
Thinking about moving to the Netherlands under the DAFT visa?Or already here and trying to figure out how to rebuild professionally while adapting to an entirely new environment?
Most conversations about relocation focus on paperwork, visas, and logistics. Very few people talk honestly about what it feels like to rebuild your business, identity, routines, and sense of direction after a major life transition abroad—especially when you're doing it alone, or spending months separated from your partner, family, and support network.
This free webinar is an honest conversation about what happens when you arrive in a new country and have to navigate much of the journey on your own. Join Andrea Gross, founder of Little Nudge Marketing B.V., as she shares her experience relocating from the United States to the Netherlands under the DAFT visa and building a business while her husband remained in the U.S., finishing the practical realities of their move.
For more than two months after arriving, Andrea found herself adapting to a new country, building a company, creating a home, and navigating everyday life largely on her own. Shy and introverted since childhood, Andrea knew she would need to step outside her comfort zone—not only to give her business a chance to succeed, but to build connections, create a support system, and overcome the isolation that can come when the people you rely on are thousands of miles away.
This is not a legal seminar.
This is not a step-by-step immigration workshop.
This is a grounded, real-world conversation about relocation, resilience, entrepreneurship, and finding your feet in a new country when you don't yet have a network around you.
