About this event
DECOUPAGE WORKSHOP
Ho, ho, ho! It’s almost Christmas time and educate. has the perfect idea for a sustainable Christmas gift for the entire family: a decoupage workshop!
Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by covering it up with paper, paint, and other ornaments. In other words, it’s a creative way to personalize otherwise plain objects and transform them into unique creations! We partnered with Lisa, Art professor at Lisart Studio, who will guide this workshop and make this experience extra fun and educational.
Join us on December 10 in this family-friendly activity and make unique and sustainable presents for your loved ones, just in time for Christmas!
No previous artistic experience is necessary and all materials are already included, but hurry up because there are only 10 places available!
The event is organized by Amsterdam-based NGO educate., and 100% of funds raised will go towards social projects in Honduras.

THE CAUSE
educate. is a grassroots non-profit organisation that works to empower children and young people in Honduras through supporting community-driven initiatives focused on education. We aim to break down the unequal power relations inherent to so much non-profit work by flipping the concept of “aid” on its head: instead of going to Honduras with programmes we want to implement, communities and organizations in Honduras reach out with their own ideas and act as the core leaders in driving projects to fruition. We believe in the power and agency of local community members, and that these individuals know best how to implement impactful projects in their communities. Find out more at www.educate-ngo.com
