=====================
The SBIC Demo Day 2025 on 9 December will shine a light on the entrepreneurial ecosystem that is at the heart of the space business community in Noordwijk. It will be a chance for expert exchange and for being inspired by space tech innovations. Get to know the people behind the ideas and find out what makes the mentors tick. It is a celebratory occasion for the community, by the community. This inaugural – and exclusive – event takes place during NL Space Week.
Take action to take part
This Demo Day will be a fantastic opportunity for the thriving community of space industry professionals to get together with the like-minded entrepreneurs and innovators within the SBIC Noordwijk network to gain insights into the latest space tech innovations being developed. It is an event that will showcase the vibrant atmosphere at our location where the tech startups are at the very heart. Join to discover the very latest business developments, grow connections, spark curiosity and conjure collaborations.
Programme
All the various programmes that have a base at the SBIC space business hub and co-working space will see participants invited on-stage to pitch their innovations. In the first session, you can get to know the founders from the current cohort of incubated ESA BIC startups, ESA Phi-Lab NL team members and representatives from SBIC’s Soft Landing programme.
In the second session, there will be an opportunity to hear presentations from ESA BIC alumni and SBIC partners, as well as a case from the ESA Technology Broker NL. These established companies and experts will share experiences and take a moment in the spotlight to showcase their products and services.
Following the pitches, there will be valuable matchmaking opportunities, combined with a networking session. This is the chance to meet with the other attendees in the audience – including coaches, investors and all the other SBIC community members.
This event is invite-only with limited capacity, so don’t delay in registering your spot at Demo Day.

Why is Demo Day important for the community?
This first Demo Day is expected to become a vital event in the calendar for all the ambitious entrepreneurs who have a base at SBIC. We hope it will also be a catalyst for new encounters and the success of this unique event will be guaranteed through the involvement of the entire SBIC community.
Next steps
Please register your place via this form – we have space for all SBIC community members in the audience. You can indicate which sector of the community you are from and whether you would like to pitch on-stage. There is availability in the first session for all the current cohort of incubated entrepreneurs and startups. However, there are only limited opportunities to pitch in the second session, so be quick if you want to get on stage. These slots will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If there are any SBIC community members wishing to present in this session, please let us know.
All the SBIC community must fill out this registration form if you wish to attend Demo Day 2025. Please answer any questions at the end of the process and we’ll get back to you soon if you have indicated an interest to pitch. SBIC partners will also receive a separate invite to a partners-only meeting prior to the event.
